Woofcast #285

Jerry Bradburys MINI on the trackAll four of us actually together all at the same time talking about MINI stuff like we like to do.

Before going any further, I would like to take the opportunity to remind you that both Todd and myself will be at AMVIV this year and you should be too. If you missed the news, Palace Station has extended the group rate so you can sign up a little later. Don’t wait until the last minute however.

Also, thanks to everyone for sending in those events! Michael and I will be recording a new Event Cast this week and I hope to have it up by the weekend.

Finally, news of the week from MotoringFile. Including Gabe’s take on a few stories we covered last week plus we all give our take on the new JCW body kit and the JCW car in general.

If you missed it, MotoringFile has a brand new Facebook page. A new one for WRR is in the works and will be ready soon. Watch this space for updates!

  1. That little comment about 12 people in Canada is gonna cost you a box Smarties. I’m having second thoughts about bringing you a box now. See ya there. 😉

  2. I agree with the painted arches being fugly. On I’ve seen one Pepper White and one BRG that it looked OK on.

Also, shame on you all for warming up to the “Oxymoron” (MINI SUV/Crossman). The only cool thing is the “globe” interface. Otherwise, it looks like a smashed up Cayenne. But, it will sell and make BMW millions so who am I to talk.

  3. You guys hit it on the head about the JCW stage 2 car. MINI blew it without at least the Sport Suspension, and the lack of a special color. But, I think of it as being a test run for the next JCW GP.

Quite frankly, I HATE the Viper Stripes! Especially when they chop them around the hood scoop on the R55, R56, and R57, and the MINI badges. They should pull the badge, put on the stripes and then put on the badge.
