R56 Cooper intake

Full crew tonight. And by full crew I do mean all 5 of us, plus Michael from the Bimmercast. Most talking about the new Coupe since it capitalized the news at MotoringFile. We also discussed pricing (be prepared to be shocked) and the availability of Limited Slip. We do go pretty long in this episode.

Then into another edition of Ask Chad! Great questions that produced some great answers! If you are looking for the R56 Cooper intake (or R55 or R57 Cooper), click the image above to go straight to Detroit Tuned to put your name on the list.

We also have a brand new sponsor! MINI of Ontario isn’t even open yet and those lads are jumping right into the MINI Community like nobody’s business. They will be the newest MINI Dealership in California, located in Ontario, California. They are using the Twitter, and if you want to be kept up-to-date as construction happens and new MINIs start to arrive, follow them!

Click the link above to go directly to the site to contact them or to follow their progress!

Finally, I’m looking for independant service centers that are MINI friendly. Leave a comment over there with your favorite shop including all the contact information and address. I’m hoping to get enough to build up a database at White Roof Radio that everyone would be able to use.

We do realize we have been putting up longer shows again. Would you rather the 1 long show or prefer we start to split it again when it goes long. Sound off in the comments!

  1. Great show guys, loving the new Ask Chad part of the show. A big thanks to Chad for taking the time to share the knowledge.

Rather funny to hear that Tod’s GP triggered the O2 sensor on Mt. Evans. I took my GP back to the Mini in the Mountains event and had mine trip crossing the last 7k pass on US 50 across Nevada (btw a highly recommended drive. A few twisty passes and some long open road to let a GP stretch its legs). Stopped at Murray Mini in Utah and they reset the o2 sensor that tripped.

  2. Yep, had my SES light come on at Mt. Evans as well. I pretty much expect it when going over mountain passes now. Always has gone off on it’s own.

Like the long show and the Ask Chad. Keep it up.
