A quick wrap-up of MTTS, some audio from the east coast rally, and I hit a cat. We aren’t quite done with MTTS either. I’ve got my write-up going up in multiple parts this week, plus there is still some video coming to the WRR YouTube Channel.
Don’t forget, Todd and I will be at MINI of Allentown this coming Saturday from 9AM until we’re done and think it would be keen to see as many of you as possible!

Manual is more fun for the driver, but automatic is more enjoyable for passengers. Not always, but especially if the driver is not totally comfortable and smooth with the manual, riding with a person learning to shift gears can be borderline miserable. I don’t want to try to tell a middle aged driver, who’s been shifting gears for years, how to drive, so I sit quietly and suffer as they ride the clutch on hills, shift way too early, etc.
Great wrap up. Sounds like everyone had a great experience. Except at altitude 🙂 From the sound of it, I won’t be able to convince any of the WRR staff to ride (bicycle) up Mount Evans with me during future MITM 🙂
Thrilled to hear 2012 is/could be in the works: I’m in Boulder County, but couldn’t attend MTTS. Killed me.
That said, however, I was able to follow MTTS online and it’s pretty obvious that the meat-on-the-bone is actually not at the destination, but in doing the rally. Everyone seemed to have a blast making the trip to Denver.
