Regarding “Non-S” as a term: that’s even on my Cooper order form. I laughed when I saw it. The sales guy said he’s just trying to be clear, which is understandable. I don’t think it’s derogatory, perhaps a little diminutive, but I don’t have any insecurity about it.

You guys keep complaining about the “S” that MINI uses on the logo. Yes it looks kinda odd but look at it again it’s a variation of a “curvy road” sign not just an “S”. So it IS kinda fitting.
