Before Gabe goes on and on and on about the Dragon, Todd gives us a quick GP update. You can look forward to hearing these for about the next 12 weeks.
But the meat of the matter is Gabe giving us his recap of MINIs on the Dragon. After hearing this there is something seriously wrong if you are not chomping at the bit to go next year! I know I am. Catered lunch from M7 (Gabe proclaimed the best tent in fact), the road itself plus all of the activities and people, not to mention all the fried food! Yea, I’m there!
But why was db complaining about gas? Sheesh, what a buttinsky!

I think you missed a word here
“After hearing this there is something seriously wrong if you are chomping at the bit to go next year!”
“not”
I know after listening that I would love to go to the Dragon next year. That would be quite a drive from California though. Oh well, I can dream.
Phil
Some of us talked with the guy who hit the bear. He hit the bear on Thursday (maybe Wednesday) driving along Route 28, So it didn’t happen on the Dragon. I believe he was from Louisiana and was just out driving and getting used to all the curvy roads.
Overall I had a blast at the Dragon even if I was running around most of my time making sure things didn’t go haywire with dinners and events and such. I met a ton of people whose names I’ll never remember. I got 3 hours of video on my towhook mount camera (1 hour of which was by Jason from CooperSport.ca) that I’m still wading through and need to do something about.
>(1 hour of which was by Jason from CooperSport.ca) that I’m still wading through and need to do something about.
If you can make that into something manageable and not too long I’d be more than happy to host it for you!
Let me know.
Oh yea, thanks for the correction Phil. It’s already been changed.
The velvet red at the Dragon was not me. I guess there’s another poor soul out there with a velvet red MINI.
Some day, I will get a picture with three velvet red MINIs in it. So far the best I have is two.
3? Looks like I’m gonna have to make a road trip! 🙂
For velvet red MINIs in New England, I know of mine, another Jason in Vermont that has one he rescued after being totalled (which has an MCS hood just to confuse people), one in Connecticut, and one in Rhode Island.
I think mine has been photographed with each of the other three, but never a photo of three (or more) at once.
I’ve seen the MCS-hooded VR. I totally freaked out!
Hey guys, I know that Jim Peterson from NE appreciates your mentions of his “Dragon Wagon” at the Dragon this month.
So you know, Jim has a surprise for you at MitM later this summer…new decor for the wagon…perhaps a military theme?????
Gotta be there. Look forward to seeing Gabe and Todd…

And for all those that caught it, yes Jason is from Coopersport.ca. Not Cooperspeed My apologies to Jason for the confusion 🙂
