Woofcast 671: We Crack Ourselves Up

This week catching up with Chad finally, talk about the Paul Smith MINI and Todd has the scoop on HK availability in upcoming deliveries and an interview with our buddy Pat McKenna! Oh, and Gabe is a jerk (his words!)!

2 things. #1, we want to see your #whiteroofradio! Show us your stickers or show us WRR on your playback device. Take to Twitter or Instagram, tag us and use the #whiteroofradio hashtag! #2, listen to the end of the show. Then, if you have a minute, send us a note, we want to hear from you. Good or bad. We want to hear it!

Woofcast 670: Introducing the 2016 MINI Cooper Superleggara?

It’s good to be back. All MINIs, all the time here this week. I have joined the F56 club, Gabe has added an Oxford Edition to his garage, and Todd just ordered 2 JCW MINIs because he says he isn’t getting a GP3.

We talked about quite a bit this episode, links are below.

Don’t forget to click over to motoringstripes.com and check out the products. Cool stuff there for your MINI! Because blank is boring!

And you guys keep going to OutMotoring and Cravenspeed.com eventhough we haven’t reminded you since last year? DetroitTuned.com too, right? Ok, cool.

Appreciate you folks sticking around, especially through all of my bullsh*t. We will be getting back to a regular schedule, starting with 2 shows per month. Appreciate your thoughts on any of this, comments are open or you can ping us on Twitter or Instagram. Please do not message us on Facebook, we aren’t monitoring that any longer. If you are following us elsewhere, you can unfollow that page. We won’t be sneaking anything there, promise!

Woofcast 668: First Gen MINI is the Best Modern MINI

Just Chad and I talking about how awesome the R50/R53 was. Gabe joins us for a few minutes to add to it. And Chad gives us some great tips on what we should be doing for care and maintenance of our MINIs since they aren’t getting driven as much as before. At least, mine isn’t.

We talked about a few things, like:

Sharing is free! Heading over to our sponsers, however, might cost you a few dollars! OutMotoring, CravenSpeed, MotoringStripes and Detroit Tuned.

Woofcast 667: The Quarantine Show

In this, the show formally known as Woofcast 66six, we meet up on Zoom since that seems to be the cool thing to do. As mentioned, please excuse any quality and delays. And, to go a bit in reverse, please don’t forget any of the fine sponsors under the White Roof Radio that have been supporting us and all of our habits since 2006!

Now that we have paid the bills, here are a few of the things we talk about.

Thanks for joining us gang. Stay safe and wash your hands!

Woofcast 665: All About the Hostess Rack

We interrupt your regularly scheduled MINI Cooper podcast to discuss our favorite snacks. And, yes, You can still get Zingers. Plus, paczki’s and vodka in Detroit! Hello Fat Tuesday!

Getting started, our man Brian Dallas, from Ride Bikes Radio got a chance to see the new JCW GP at the auto show, along with the new electric MINI and then we end up down a Car Play/Android Auto rabbit hole and some how end up on wondering why nobody has ‘fixed’ physics. Lots of reminiscing. Just some old dudes, and Chad, remembering with longing and simpler times, about how things used to be. Who among us really misses the Hostess rack? Come on!

I ask Chad a question too; how to reset your service/brake lights on an R56 MINI. Is this something you need to be able to do? Chad has you covered with a pdf to walk you through the process! So awesome! DT has a great selection of instructional documentation for your MINI. Check it out, then go buy something nice.

We have all confirmed that we will all be in Las Vegas, at Palace Station, March 27th – March 29th. We do have an event at Stupid Facebook you can mark you are interested or going so you won’t forget. We hope to see you all there! Be sure to follow @whiteroofradio, @dbwilldo or @toddsmods on Twitter to stay up-to-date when we get to town!

Don’t forget your #mtts2020 magnets, grill badges and rally stickers! MotoringBadges has you covered and Todd is offering FREE shipping for a limited time! It’s a short route so you have plenty of time to get this ordered (even if you aren’t going!). Do not wait!

Woofcast 664: Grounded on the Ground

Gabe was able to drive the MINI Cooper SE last week in Miami and we got to talk about it prior to his review going up on Motoringfile. We tried to cover the questions we think you guys would ask, but check the post on Motoringfile if you have any other questions. You can read his full review, complete with some amazing photos, at MotoringFile.

A few other things I want to remind you about. Todd, Chad and I FOR SURE will be in Las Vegas March 27th – March 29 at Palace Station and we are hoping that maybe you might be able to take some time and come hang out with us. Would be super rad and hope you can make it!

I am really excited about the opportunity to make the show listen supported. I think 2020 is our year and it’s super simple. If we can get 300 listeners supporting us through our Patron page, then it’s going to happen! Keep in mind that one of the best perks you get by becoming a patron is you get access to Black Roof Radio, which is our un-edited pre show discussion that is, really, 2 extra episodes every month.

For all of you that have kids or if you are child adjacent, then you really need to be handing out the MINI JCW Go-Kart out as gifts. From our friends over at OutMotoring.

Finally, don’t forget about the chat! Click over to Flickapp.com/whiteroofradio and use the code whiteroofradio to join the discussion over there! Free to join and everything. Check it.

Woofcast 663: They Have Donuts in Vegas

First things first; We were serious about a Vegas meetup! Here are the details:

White Roof Radio Vegas Meetup

(aka AMVIV rememberance Tour 2020) March 27 – 29 Palace Station, Las Vegas, NV

There is a Facebook Event and I will be updating that as more details are available.

Sales, GP3, SUVs, Car Play, coffee, donuts and more. What else would you expect from our first show back for 2020? We’ve been away for a bit, so we had a lot to catch up. Oh, and we go a little long, as you would expect.

If you have some holiday money burning a hole in your pocket, a good use of those funds would be cool MINI stuff from Outmotoring.com and Craven Speed. DetroitTuned for service if you are 7.5 hours away. Now offering custom tunes too! Motoring Stripes for your #mtts2020 badges and door magnets!

And, we need your help! Make 2020 the year that you share White Roof Radio with anyone! We are @whiteroofradio everywhere, so share away! Finally, wouldn’t it be cool if White Roof Radio was listener supported? Patreon.com/whiteroofradio. If we had 300 listeners supporting us, we would be able to go 100% listener supported. Let’s do this!
