Dear White Roof Radio Army,

We are all pretty sure that you are planning your epic video/photo shoot for your entry into the Final Test, Test Drives contest, right? Here under the White Roof, we are pretty excited and should have our entry posted soon. They said we could play, and, let’s be honest, how cool would it be if there was a White Roof Radio special edition MINI?

Anyway, the contest. We think it would be cool to hold our own contest at the same time! We are hoping that you share your submission, either photo or video, on Facebook at tag it #testtest. Then, we are going to creep on that tag over the coming weeks and give away a White Roof Radio Swag Box every week along with featuring your awesome submission right here at whiteroofradio.com!

Make sure to share those submissions to the public so we can see ’em. And make sure to submit! We are looking forward to the awesome that you guys are going to come up with!

White Roof Radio Woofcast #500

Time to mark those calendars and ask for time off. What will surely be one of the biggest parties of 2014 is almost fully planned, and we want you to be there!

This coming February, White Roof Radio will record our 500th episode. We think it’s a pretty big deal and would like to share the experience with as many of you as possible in the form of a live, in person, show. Details are still being worked out, but we can tell you when and where.

MINI of Grand Rapids is organizing an event for Saturday, August 3rd, that will be (hopefully) bringing over 1,450 MINIs to the Mackinac Bridge to assemble the largest parade of MINIs ever! Listener Shout-Out: Carnell

From the Dept. Of Tooting Our Own Horn comes this very fine email from long-time WRR Listener Carnell. We keep telling your that we have listeners that don’t have a MINI. There are some of them that even, finally, come around. Case in point.

Just wanted to send you guys this note as I hope you’ll find it interesting. I’ve been listening to the show since 2008 I believe and started attending MOTD in 2010 after my dad bought on ’09 MCS.

Sidenote: My first Dragon you guys recorded from the Dragon and Todd had his GP. We struck up a conversation and he let me have seat in it. One of my favorite MOTD moments.

Since then I’ve been to the Dragon 4 times (3 MOTD, 1 MSSD), become rather active on various boards and on MF (search the comments for “Versus” and all the while I didn’t own a MINI.

That changed on 5-25 when I became the owner of a 2012 black/Laser Blue MCS.

Consider this a grand “thank you” for being great ambassadors to the MINI culture. I’ve learned a lot from WRR (check your oil!!) and always find the banter informative and enjoyable.
