And a tip of the hat to Waylen for lending the sway bar for Randy to use in Todd’s car.
I wonder if Todd would have lent the JCW GP had it been there…..
Glad to hear all went well. Thumbs up to Todd!
Todd, as you told the story I thought that you were going to sell the car to Randy as the next Mule. That would have made room in your own paddock for the GP.
Is it too late? Do you need Randy’s number?
Great story – well told.
=R=
Todd, would you have been so generous had you been driving your new GP at the time? ๐
db, you need to get racing your Cooper. You’d be guaranteed coming first in your class. ๐
This really was a great example of the MINI community coming together. After seeing Brian’s Flickr I guess I don’t need to worry about posting any other pictures. ๐
Please, Bruce, post more of yours! You had a better lens and a _much_ better position on Sunday for on-track shots!
I’ll be out at Summit Point, but I’m going to be there supporting the Madness/LDG. I’m sorta biased though as LDG is like 15 minutes up the road from me.

Workin’ on it.
I don’t think I could have lent out my MINI…
Todd’s a bigger man than I!
Bravo!
Great story that will live in your memory for all time.
Wicked cool.
Cheers!
db, when you get that HyperBlue MCS as your daily runner, you can go race Roxy!
We can have dueling velvet red coopers with over 100,000 miles.
Well, I’m only at 95,000 right now. And the series would have to have a New England or Quebec date. Okay, it’s probably not going to happen. ๐
Great story!
I would have probably done the same thing in Todd’s position, but I don’t know…
I still hold to my comment over on DB’s blog… Todd must have a third one hangin’ because he’s got more balls than I do. I don’t think I could have let my baby out onto the track like that, but I guess Todd’s TRUE baby is in Italy right now being fitted out…
Wow. Todd, you’re a generous motorer, giving Randy your car to race like that!
Please post / link-up some pics!
